3.1General BusinessCLIMATE UPDATE In preparation for the Community Needs Assessment presentation and discussion, the Policy and Operational teams will hear updates from Santa Rosa Police Department, Probation, and school partner representatives. These updates will include relevant data, hot spots, and trends.
Police, probation, and school partners will share data and trends on public safety issues affecting Santa Rosa, including information about problem areas and current crime patterns, to help inform a community assessment.
3.2General BusinessOPERATIONAL TEAM SUCCESS STORIES Operational Team members will have an opportunity to share success stories with the Policy Team.
Team members working on violence prevention will share examples of successful programs or initiatives they've implemented.
3.3General Business2026 VIOLENCE PREVENTION COMMUNITY NEEDS ASSESSMENT AND ACTIVITY Partnership staff will provide an overview of the 2026 Community Needs Assessment and outline roles for Policy Team and Operational Team members. Members will also have an opportunity to participate in a tabletop exercise to kick off the assessment. PRESENTATION - 2026 VIOLENCE PREVENTION COMMUNITY
Staff will explain Santa Rosa's 2026 violence prevention needs assessment, clarify what different team members need to do, and lead participants through a planning exercise to start gathering community input.
