A city parks planner will present information about declaring a 'Parks Make Life Better' proclamation to recognize the value of parks in the community.

7.2General BusinessMEASURE M - PARKS FOR ALL UPDATE Parks Planner, Scott Wilkinson will present an update on the Measure M - Parks for All funding for Parks and Recreation. It will include an overview of the Measure and how the City allocates the sales tax funding to support capital improvement projects, parks maintenance, and recreation programming, highlighting expenditures to date, and plans for future spending within each category.

Staff will update the Board on Measure M funding—a local sales tax dedicated to parks—explaining how the money supports construction projects, park maintenance, and recreation programs, plus showing spending so far and future plans.
